Bridge Celebration

The Bridge Celebration is an annual celebration of the Mária Valéria Bridge, which connects Esztergom (Hungary) and Štúrovo (Párkány, Slovakia). The multi-day festival features a variety of cultural, family, and entertainment programs, with one of its most spectacular highlights being the beautifully illuminated bridge each evening.

Originally built in 1895 and rebuilt in 2001 after more than fifty years of separation, the bridge has become a symbol of the connection between Esztergom and Štúrovo. The festival welcomes visitors with concerts, family activities, and cultural events in Erzsébet Park.
