The Mediterraneo Restaurant is located on Primates Island, at the foot of the Mária Valéria Bridge, by the address Helischer utca 2. On their menu, you can find everything from traditional folk dishes to dishes that satisfy modern needs. For example, the pork tenderloin roasted on an iron plate or the gypsy steak with garlic are excellent choices if you like Hungarian flavors. 42 Restaurant, located on Széchenyi Square, is one of the best restaurants in the country, which is a sure figure in the TOP10 list of the TOP100 Restaurant Guide, and even earned a Michelin star in November 2022. The chefs are waiting for you with a 9-course menu called “The way we see the world”, accompanied by the best quality wines and champagnes. They claim that they are most sensitive to the current vibrations of the world and you can take a piece of those with you. If you want real quality and exclusivity, this place is for you!

BorYou wine & bistro is a family business in the heart of Esztergom, on Széchenyi Square. They work with reimagined Hungarian and international flavors and special textures, but at the same time they strive for traditional flavors. Their popular dishes include the medium-rare steak, the crumbly beef cheek, or the crumbly virgin coin. In addition to the food, refreshments and special wines await you. Our clear favorite is the buttery piglet cheek stew with homemade spinach dumplings. Don’t miss it!

Cakumpakk Bisztró (+menu in English)
In the brunch restaurant with a five-year history, you can enjoy a buffet breakfast from 8 a.m. Italian Diemme coffees, Mayer homemade syrups, an a la carte menu from 11 a.m., a fixed-price lunch menu and a big smile await you. The varied and sumptuous dishes prepared by chef József Petrovics – such as the crispy pork emperor – will appeal to everyone, but if you like traditional hamburgers, they are served in artisanal quality with 100% beef patties and freshly fried steak potatoes. Look for them in the bustling downtown, at Bajcsy-Zsilinszky utca 15.
